The McLaren P1 was unveiled as a concept car at the Paris Motor Show in 2012 and went into production in 2013. The car has a limited production run of only 375 units and all of these have been sold. The car is the unofficial successor to the McLaren F1 with the P1 utilizing a hybrid engine and technology transferred from the McLaren Formula 1 car.
