Lamborghini Veneno Engine and Performance
In terms of performance, the Veneno is a sports car in the truest sense of the world. Its V12 engine delivers 552 kW (740 horsepower). Power is delivered to the wheels via a single clutch, 7-speed automated transmission. It has a maximum speed of 221 miles an hour. It can zoom from 0-100km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.8 seconds.

The Lamborghini Veneno also comes in a roadster version. This model has the same engine as that of the coupe version.
The main difference, though, is that the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster had no roof. It also has more units available. There are only 9 units of this version, which come with an exorbitant $4.5 million price tag. That’s still a lot considering that the coupe version only had 3 units.
The look of the roadster is very similar to the coupe. It also has a huge aerodynamic wing plus large channels and Y-shaped angular headlights.
The exterior of the roadster is made of all-carbon fiber. There is also large vents fitted to cool the big, V12 engine of the car. An adjustable rear wing, meanwhile, imposes the necessary down force.
However, the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is different from other roadster models which have an adjustable top. The lack of a roof gives it a unique look. Instead, it has a stable rollover bar to monocoque which is visible from the interior especially from the central tunnel.
Similar to the Coupe, the Roadster version of the Lamborghini Veneno also had bucket seats made from Lamborghini’s patented Forged Composite. The entire cockpit, as well as the headliner, were made from CarbonSkin in an effort to reduce the overall weight of the car.
In terms of the color, the only choice for the Veneno Roadster is the Rosso Veneno.
Because of the similar engine used in the Roadster version of the Veneno, the performance of both models is basically the same. The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster can accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0 -60mph) in around 2.9 seconds, just a split second slower than the Coupe version. It can also achieve a top speed of 354 km/h (220 mph).
The engine is linked to an ISR transmission featuring five modes. It also has a permanent all-wheel drive system that supplies power to all wheels. Another prominent feature of the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is its racing chassis with push-road suspension and damper units.
The Roadster also features alloy wheel and carbon ceramic braking system that further makes it very light and easy to drive.
