Noble M600 Speedster
More than five years since it was launched in the market, the M600 got a fresh look with the introduction of a new variant, the M600 Speedster. It is basically the M600 with a removable roof and a gear box.
In 2015, Noble unveiled the M600 Speedster during the 2015 Auto Sports International Show. The M600 Speedster has a removable roof and comes with an auto gearbox that adds £15,000 to its price tag. It has a price tag of around £300,000.
The Speedster is basically the M600 with a removable roof. It is powered by a V8, twin-turbo petrol engine with an output of 650 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 604-pound feet of torque at 3800 rpm. All that power is transferred to the wheels through either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission.
The M600 Speedster is noticeably simpler compared to its main rivals like the Ferrari 458 and the Lamborghini Huracan. It doesn’t have the curves and angles that you would often find in cars in its class. The minimalist design is only enhanced without the roof.
Speaking of the roof, the removable targa roof can be installed or removed within 30 seconds. However, there isn’t enough space in the car for storing this roof. So owners will have to pray that it won’t suddenly rain if and when they decide to use the car without its roof on.
Noble M600 Price
With a price of around £150,000 or $330,000, the M600 Speedster will be competing with models from car makers like Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Bugatti, and of course, Ferrari. It may not awe potential buyers with its minimalistic design and less luxurious interiors, but it does deliver in terms of performance on the road.
The M600 Speedster will rely on its mechanical simplicity and electronic mechanism to attract potential buyers. The fact that it remains one of the fastest cars in the world, with superior acceleration capacity compared to other super sport cars, makes the M600 Speedster a very intriguing buy.
